Needing a new Overlanding Adventure

My Boyfriend and I have been overlanding once in Arkansas Ozark Mountains.
We had an absolute blast!
Working on the new jeep build at the moment. Coming to an end.
Us and a few friends are wanting to plan a trip sometime this year.
Maybe around June or July.
So looking for something North of us.
We live in Louisiana.
I'm really wanting to shoot for Tennessee. But don't no anyone who has been in that area.
If anyone has any suggestions as to where would should start or any good places we should check out!
we all have very capable jeeps.
And are not scared of the outdoors or any "risky"trails or what not.

Windrock is a huge park in Tennessee. I haven’t been there but it is on my to do list. I think you couldn’t easily spend 3-4 days doing trails and camping there.

Checkout the Trans America trail.
Starts @ Tellico Plains Tn and runs west.
There are loops near you.
Have a look.
