Hi Everyone,
I own a 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD V6, and planning to start overlanding on my vehicle. Hoping to get an RTT soon, going to install the 2inch lift kit. Currently have OEM tires 245/60/R18 which would require replacing soon. Any recommendations on what should I get or replace from OEM to make it more friendly for forest roads and some light off roading. No plans for rock crawling lol

Hi Max,

If I were you, I would start by making smaller excursions and tours. Take a piece of paper and pen with you and write down what you are missing and what could be better . ANd then if necessary start with modifications, because only then will you know what you really need.

Well, if the tires are to be replaced anyway, I would perhaps go for something with more tread, but nothing extreme for simple dirt roads. Maybe an all-terrain tire. And not (much) larger than stock, because this often requires other conversions and more investment or even higher wear and tear. You will hear many opinions and experiences about tires. Also there ist is best to try out for yourself what you really need.

Enjoy the upcoming trips!
