I actually was right in your neck of the woods. I took Beartooth Pass out of Yellowstone. Passed through Red Lodge, on my way to Badlands.

Unfortunately I drove through in the evening, and everything was closed. I will be going back someday. It was only when I got home that I realized that drive is labeled the most beautiful road in America.

The road condition was good. Passed a Subaru on my way out and their was another Subaru at the lake. Their are a few technical spots for stock vehicles, but you shouldn’t have any problems on a lifted vehicle.
