From Amador City we took 49 to Tonzi Rd. To 124 then to twin cities rd. Then took Ione Michigan rd. To Meiss Rd. Which is where these pictures are from. Then on to Dillard rd. Hope that makes sense.
Perfectly. Tonzi was in my back yard in Sutter Creek.

Yesterday I braved thee most treacherous road known to man by myself…the old 105, in NC. I came in from the south, there was one incline past wiseman’s view that a smaller suv was struggling to get up, it was rutted pretty good, but it made it eventually. I love the views on the 105. Found me an open spot and took a little break.

From the 105 I went to Unaka Mountain Recreation Area in TN. Nice easy drive with some beautiful views. The viewpoints aren’t as prevalent as the 105 and “The Beauty Spot” was really busy. “Pleasant Garden” on the other hand was empty.

Nice work. Hope to get that direction soon. We were up in the John H. Kerr Dam area last year but I need more time in the lower forest.
