Just outside of meadow lake Idaho, near Gilmore Idaho. We were heading to the campground near the lake but we weren't in my rig with the recovery equipment and decided not to push our luck.

These are some night shots at Zion National Park from my first ever Overland trip a couple years ago. I drove from Central MS to Zion National Park before turning back around. The purple in the first picture is the bands of the Milky Way Galaxy and the mountain in the second picture is lit up by the moon. Crazy what some long exposure pictures and a bit of star and moon light can do!
