Hello there. As is another newer member here, I am in the middle TN area. Beginning a slow build up of my truck to do some family camping and traveling. I'd like to meet up locally sometime and maybe try to plan a trip on the KAT or the Dirt Devil or DBBB or LBL.

That is basically it for now. I'd like to build some rock sliders and skids, extend the breathers, then just build out the ARE for camping.
I am currently in the refurb phase of the ARE. I picked it up last weekend for $250. It is structurally perfect, just needs a good cleaning and some updates. I've been searching for a DCU with side windows (not tool boxes) and rear swing out doors for a while.
- Replacing the rear door struts and ball studs
- New BOLT lock cylinders keyed for the truck
- Build a sliding front window
- New seals for the bed mounting areas
- Paint match
- Reseal the exterior
- Insulate
The ultimate goal is to convert the shell into a cab over Westie style pop up, and dress it out a bit with built in style farkles.
