My USA/Canada Overland trip...

Hi Guys, i'm 41 years old Australian Army veteran, now retired (with injuries), i volunteer for Team Rubicon in USA off and on.

I'm landing in to LAX early Dec to buy and setup up Land rover LR3, I need some advise on a wheel and tyre place in LA and a 4x4 work shop that will able to fit the items need for the trip.

Very excited for this Bucket list trip.

I'm planning to set up a vehicle with the following-

-suspension upgrade (Oldman emu 3 inch lift)
-wheel and Tyre set up will have to (multifit wheels)
-roof rack (BajaRack roof rack long)
-roof tent (Hinterland)
-Front bar (landrover Heavy duty)
-rear bar with wheel Carrier (Tactical Rovers)
-some kitchen & storage area (Goose Gear)
-some other accessories need

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Not sure of plans or dates. If you need some help getting through Northern California or a repair near Bay Area, please let me know. I have a large 4 wheel drive club that would love to be a second rig for a trip like this.

Hey @Chad V, I'm in SoCal and 2 miles from LAX. There is a 4 Wheel Parts (chain) store and Dirty Parts which is a local store near by. I would recommend Dirty Parts as I know the owner and never had issues with them ordering parts, they also do installs. (On Instagram they are dirtyparts4x4)
There are lots of tire/ wheel shops in the area and Goose Gear is about 30 minutes south of me.
As it gets closer, if you send me a comprehensive parts/ supplies list I can look into availability and prices for you. -Bob
