I think this is some great advice I would just add you need something to sleep in. Something I keep going back and forth on between an RTT, Ground tent or a 270 awning with walls and floor. They all have pros and cons

I’m thinking of going with a ground tent. Going to be volunteering at a local 4H horse club. Going to need the bed for shavings and hay and pulling a horse trailer.

Honestly the awning with room might be a good option then that way you have some extra shade during day trips

I spent years doing 4H and looking back on it knowing about them now I wish I had had an awning many times!

We love our awnings. I use mine for when I go to the track to race also.
