Hi guys !

When I first saw the Overland Bound video about a 3 days adventure challenge, I was like ... Okay, there's worst challenge out there ... I'm gonna give it a try !
Plus it was the perfect occassion to share with the OB community and to show a little bit more of our US member what Europe and especially France looks like !

And as easily as that, BOOM ! it was planned for next week !
One of my Patron suggested me a track on the Wikiloc App. It seemed nice and not that far from where I live
(At this time, we were only allowed to travel 100km/62miles far from home because of the COVID19 restrictions)
It was just a bit short for a 3 days adventure ... So I made more research around it and found some other trails to explore.

I celebrated my birthday with my family during the weekend and on Monday...

I WAS OFF to the ADVENTURE !

As you saw in the video, this first day, wasn't the best in term of trails.
But the camp ... Was pretty nice !

I was hidden from everyone !
Well ... not really... I was actually surrounded by so many deers !
While eating my homemade burger, one deer came so close ! it was a magical moment !
I was lucky to get it on camera (In the first part video)

The night was so noisy !
All the deers were making weird (and creepy) sounds.
From what I know, it's typical from their breeding period.

I woke up pretty early in the morning ... around 6am. And it was great !
I was able to catch this beautiful sun rise, enjoy my breakfast and pack up everything without any hurry.

Then, the SECOND DAY of ADVENTURE STARTED !

And on this second day, trails were way better and enjoyable !

I even came across a small offroad track in the middle of the forest !

And also, sad things ... (But the Foz looked so good here !)

I had a bit of challenge with the trail before finding the perfect campspot, and that is in the video :grinning:

And then, I found it !
Earlier than 2pm so I could rest, seat, cook and really enjoy the moment.

I also tested my new knives !

The Gerber Mini Tri-Tip on the right and the new KaBar BK-18 on the left.

I made myslef a nice "mexican" salad for the afternoon and to stay in the theme, some burritos during the evening (After taking a few hours long nap ahaha)

They were DELICIOUS !

I always enjoy taking time to cook at camp !
Most of the time meals tastes 10 times better, I d'ont really know why.

This was my second campspot, almost perfect. I just missed some kind of water source like a river or a lake.

Compared to the previous night, this one was soooooo quiet !
I slept a bit more, until 8am and then,

Hit the road to head back home.
