Sorry folks, I meant to post this up a couple of months ago, but kept it on our Toyota120.com site. Only have like four trucks so far, and I know this is short notice for people, but y'all can let me know if you can make it or not.

My trip starts Friday April 7 and we're meeting at the Smiths Food King in Fort Mohave for gas and last minute stuff before heading back across the River to the Trail Head. We conclude Easter Sunday in Afton Canyon. After anyone that wants to go home on Sunday leaves, myself and at least one of our other members and their son are going right back out into the Preserve and grabbing a cabin for a few days before going home.
The last couple of trips, we've had a few cool people from OB come out with us. I would make this a Rally point, but don't have the time to set that up. So, anyone that sees this and wants to go, reach out to me, and/or click on the Toyota120 link and register there, as that is the main planning thread!!
The weather should be good by then, and the Wildflower Bloom should be Spectacular!! Bring cameras, lenses, etc!!
Peace!
Robert

@my134Runner Give it some time, buddy! The weekends are when people get out onto the trails. They'll check in once they get back in signal range.

Also, a little more advance notice might have been nice, in order for people to plan attendance. Likely many already have plans for that weekend, and with no Rally Point, you can't really expect people to find this post and set up an account on another forum to announce attendance.

Not trying to be rude, trying to be helpful. This forum usually sleeps on the weekends. Try to make a RP for your next run, and people will find it, no doubt!

No worries, I'm well aware of how forums work. I actually posted it up on our Toy120 three months ago......I was going to post it on here again, just too busy at work to deal with it.......so this was a last minute afterthought posting on OB. This is Not my first trip planning adventure.....Again, 18th Easter organized trip, and another 18 in September.........plus used to do a lot of weekly and every couple of weeks local trips. But, you get older, and you slow down a bit. I messed with the rally point thing last year, and eventually took it down as I had more people posting on here and no one on the RP. No worries......This will be my 29th.....no wait, my 28th Easter out in the Mojave since it became a National Park, only once, in 2018 when we went to DV instead.
So yeah, Not a newbie, Not my first time, just don't have a lot of time!!
And I'm not worried about having a big group anymore, been there done that with over 20 trucks, and I'll pass on doing that ever again (too many people to baby sit!).....we have four or five right now, so was just putting it out there in case a couple more wanted to come out. Ok, I need to get back to work!

@my134Runner Understandable. Still, this community kinda requires long notice times, since a lot of the regulars do extremely long trips. They can kind of plan on being around certain areas at certain times of their trips, to attend different events, etc. As you said, you're not a rookie, so you already know all of this.

I've never attended a run with more than 2 trucks, primarily because I figured on the "babysitting". More is not merrier.

In any case, I hope ya have fun out there!

Yeah, no worries bro, like I said, Not my first time, just threw it up just in case a couple extras wanted to go. Me and my Toyota120 buddy Jon and his son are staying out for a few days after we leave Afton Canyon. Grabbing a cabin to hang out and explore off the grid and/or trail. Lots of cool places to see, and in 29 years of roaming around the Mojave Preserve.......I've still only seen a fraction of all 1.6 million acres....But.....I have seen a lot.
I'll be doing my 18th or 19th September Mojave trip on third weeknd of Sept. I'll make sure to post it up here about when I posted this up on Toyota120.....about three months should be plenty!
Cheers!!
