Hey everyone, hopefully this is the community I've been looking for! I've been a long time YouTube follower but finally decided to make an account here. I'm relatively new to overlanding and currently have a stock f150. IIstarted taking out into the mountains when I moves to Colorado last fall. I does the job, but it could be done alot better.

Hey @Merkwier - welcome to the OB forums!

As you start poking around and seeing what the different forums and threads are focused on, you'll find the appropriate places to ask more specific questions about your truck, mods, gear, places to go, how to get involved in trail maintenance and clean-ups, etc.

Hope you find the advice you're looking for!

Let us know if there's anything we can do to steer you in the right direction or help in any other way.

@Merkwier

Welcome from another Colorado Member!
F150 can be a hell of a truck. In what ways is your F150 letting you down?

If you're available check out the meet and greet camp out. https://www.overlandbound.com/event/colorado-meet-and-greet-camping-trip/
There are currently 9 members planning to meet up with a few more like myself on the maybe list. I believe that a few of the members who are going are also from Denver or The Springs so you may be able to caravan down.

You might want to chat up @TheBarefootFamily as they are planning to go and run a Ford as well (IIRC).

Hey thanks for the welcome! :) Truck is completely stock so the suspension is pretty garbage for off-road. Despite having stock wheels, it's done ok but I need more clearence. Can't decide between 33s and 2" level or go 35s and 4" lift.

Would you mind linking your build thread if you've got one? Do you run into issues due to the long wheel base?
