Mrs. Clang's Jeep JKU Build - Mild

Two days ago, Mrs. Clang pulled the trigger on a new Wrangler. Well, not new, a 2015 with 10k miles. Yes, we now have his and hers.

She has a plan.....

The day we picked it up.

As of this afternoon.

So far, she has added 285 70/17s on Rubi wheels (with 1.5" spacers), Bartact milspec seat covers front and back, all weather floor mats and cargo liner. Heavy duty rock sliders, which I have yet to install, maybe in the next couple of days. She is looking at bumpers, and lift kits now.

Pics to follow, but after some research, we upgraded (both jeeps actually) to JW Speaker led lights - front and back. They are painfully expensive, but HOLY MOLY what a difference. Jeep headlights are notoriously inadequate, and always have been. We compared the two Jeeps side by side before I upgraded the other one, and the difference is unreal. The upgrade took less than 20 minutes per Jeep for headlights and taillights (not including checking light alignment and applying the protective film on the headlights). I had to make minor alignment adjustments to Mrs. Clang's headlights, but mine were spot on with no adjustments.

The headlights are expensive enough that I opted for the milspec protective film coating. The protective film is only $12 per pair, and comes highly recommended on other forums - both Jeep and non Jeep. I would definitely recommend you apply the film BEFORE installing the headlights on the Jeep, and have a heat gun or high wattage hairdryer.

Weird reflections on the grille that look like cracks/scratches/dirt. It's actually shiny clean since I had to remove it to replace the lights.
Perspective makes it look like the Light force lights obscure the running/turn indicator lights and the headlights, but that's not actually the case.

Now with AEV lift installed - 6.5 hours under the jeep and a sore back today, but all done.

New front bumper picture too, but it's been on a month or two.
