Man, I am glad I live in central California. We only have two main freeways 99 and 5. Pretty much the basics have been covered and as stated it depends on the LEO's mood. I find it's the CHPs that are less lenient. If they see you are in the military the will most likely give you a break. My dad gets away with all kinds of infractions due to combat wounded plates and Globe and Anchor on everything he owns. At 86 he still thinks he's 21. Takes his lifted Cherokee out every chance he gets. My parents live in Southern California, so if you ever see a lifted Cherokee with Chosin Few decals on it, most likely it's my Pop. Once a Marine, always a Marine is true with him.
