Wait...what? Waddimiss? :)
Hope you guys are doing well. We had an adventure. Check out the new video on YouTube. Alaska Bound, Expedition US. I show what's left of the Chuck Wagon. We are rebuilding. Slowly but surely. Take care. Adventure has it risks and rewards. We are heading up the Denali Highway with other OB members in June. Going to be great. Ralph

You make some great adventure videos documenting your overlanding adventures! I just finished watching a few of them. You made an excellent purpose-built trailer and outfitted it perfectly. At the time that your trailer was stolen, I remember reading Corrie's post on Overland Bound about your misfortune in Billings, Montana. I am delighted to read that you made it to Alaska. Sorry to hear about your Mom's passing.

I live in a relatively high crime area for petty theft and my biggest fear is that if I modify the outside of my rig too much, it might tempt those miscreants to pay my rig a visit while I am at work. We live in an apartment block and during the daytime, no one is around as all the residents are at work. My wife and I have to leave our bikes right outside our apartment and they have both been stolen a couple of times over the last several years when we have been at work and even at home. I have no garage and have to leave my Jeep JK in a lonely car port. Most of my mods so far have been to the inside and I use large black blankets to hide my gear. All of my overlanding gear stays in the rig even when I am not overlanding as we lack a proper storage area. To be honest, I'm nervous about installing a winch, rotopax containers, extra LED lights, maxtrax, etc. even though I would love to add those capabilities to my rig as I love to offroad and explore so much. A determined criminal with the right tool can easily defeat a lock though as evidenced by the way that they were able to deal with your trailer. With the price of rent going up so much in the Palo Alto and peninsula area, we can't really afford to move elsewhere. I am always trying to think of creative solutions to overcome this issue and I am very inspired by looking at all the awesome overland vehicles on this forum. There are some amazing rigs out there. Best of luck with the rebuilding of your trailer.

Thanks. Not as good as you though.

Thank You. Unfortunately we all have to deal with Theives. I certainly do not blame you about advertising what you have. That's why I thought a trailer was a great way to store my gear safely, but I was wrong. Having to totally rethink things now. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Best of luck to you. Ralph
