I here that! Hopefully you can still get out a rip a little on your bike. I went out in the middle of nowhere yesterday with Daisy. I figure if there is no one in miles. I'm not hurting them and they aren't hurting me!!View attachment 151781View attachment 151782View attachment 151783
Oh man, good call on your part! That looks like a day well spent with Daisy. Beautiful area too. It’s good seeing people getting out and spending some time outdoors and being safe about it. Thanks for sharing the good times!

View attachment 58155 I really used to be into cycling , and one look at my mtb will take you back to the 90s, what with its ‘old’ geometry and 26” wheels, straight-gauge 4130 chromoly tubing, and that fluorescent yellow. It’s a classic Southern California Yeti Ultimate (waaaay before they went carbon fiber and moved to CO. But mine was welded by FTW himself!)

Very eclectic build. I must be one of the only ones around running a Campagnolo off-road drivetrain Using old Speedplay Frogs and Magura HS-33 rim brakes. I’d say it could still embarrass posers with 160mm travel 29ers, but these days my bike seems to be lacking in the engine department.
My style of MTB. I love the 90s rides. none of this new fangled slack geo crap! you needed to be a real man to fly down a hill on this stuff! Ha ha ha!

I watch it every year on RedBull TV on my roku. It's amazing on TV I could just imagine being there! They have some MAAAADDDD skills!
My kid is really into that stuff. Anything extreme he digs. We were watching a documentary on Cam something at Rampage. Talking about all this guys injuries and how far he has come. The kicker is My son is talking about how cool that stuff is while he is sitting there with a broken wrist and sprained hip from a bad motocross wreck. Once it's in your blood I guess.

Sounds alot like me when I was younger. It never leaves you either. I still have that fire when on anything motorized or two wheeled. As soon as I get on or in it's "pinned"!

This is my human powered overland rig. :sunglasses: Anyone else in the group ever go bikepacking?

Nice!

I'm looking to for a hard tail w/a 100-120mm fork and some fat tires for spring gravel rides and bikepacking. Leaning towards the Santa Cruz Chameleon w/a 120mm fork and 29" tires. I just need to sell a couple other bikes that I'm not riding as much these days first.

Here’s a few pictures from an adventure we took Friday. Up Cold Creek, then up Monument Pass to the Tahoe Rim Trail. It was a no rush on anything day, so we really enjoyed ourselves.
Things are opening up here, so we’re gearing up to get away next weekend.
Stay safe and stoked everyone
Side note! On our way down Cold Creek about half way we came across a very cool guy playing acoustic guitar on the trail side. Truly an amazing day .A1472312-D5E5-475A-8030-9E0A41445FB2.jpegEB8A997D-0A52-4971-9865-CA83790D7BA1.jpeg8F6CE517-36A2-43E4-8CE4-7677E9130F52.jpeg22D8BEAF-2AFB-4077-AB8A-E874CCB493B3.jpeg2DCC0761-845D-4E62-B763-FB5F3718AE39.jpeg738F9E07-0E35-492B-8AD9-000A091DB90D.jpegD226EAF2-2CCD-41DF-ADC4-CD6191F5949F.pngC33075FE-D4B6-4DEF-861A-2BBA2B2BCEDD.png
