Hello, friends!

I'm looking for a way to carry some extra fuel.

I can't do a tailgate hinge mount, as that where my jack is.

I thought about a spare tire mount, but I have the stock carrier, and I'm afraid it wouldn't hold the weight.

So I'm thinking about this:

If any of you have any experience with this, or know anyone who does, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks in advance,

Randy

Have a friend who runs them on both sides. Easy no drill install. Terrific height for a 30lb of fuel. If you order two, make sure oyu order a driver and a passenger. They are side dependent.

When I see a Jeep with cans mounted like that all I think about is what happens in a t-bone collision when the cans rupture.
That's certainly a concern. My plan is to only use it on the trail, not as I drive the Jeep around town. Perhaps that would mitigate the hazard to some degree.

Thanks for the input.
