Five day trip through Mojave Road. We will be doing the road east to west starting near Avi Resort & Casino, ending at Afton Campgrounds. Thursday May 2nd we will be grouping up @3pm and finishing the road May 6th. Come for all or a portion of communicated in advance. Be prepared for 4 days in the desert, extra water and fuel required.

For the Modesto caravan, we will meet 5:45am at the Starbucks at 99S and Briggsmore so that we can arrive at 2pm. It’s a 7 hour drive to Avi Casino, but with gas and food stops I’m giving the drive an extra hour. Near the casino is an ARCO that is just over the border of Arizona and the gas will be almost a dollar cheaper for a 5 minute detour. I’d suggest coming with your spare cans full though.

Let me know if you would like to caravan so I know how many rigs will be meeting up Thursday AM.

If anyone has issues I live in Bullhead City, I might be able to help or direct you to help....

Also everything is cheaper in Bullhead city than Ft. Mohave and both those cheaper than anything in California or Nevada.......

Be safe!

Here is a desert tortoise that Papadave and I saw last year literally on Mojave Road near the Mailbox. It was mid April. The Park Rangers are serious about avoiding these little guys. You can see his right in the tracks!96127

Is that an Alu-Cab RTT? View attachment 97308
Yes it is an iKamper. The name is a little hard to make out in that photo. I looked at the AluCab but the iKamper is cheaper, same footprint and weight, yet can sleep 3 adults and a child, to be conservative. It’s HUGE
