Alright, one more because I'm on a roll!

Here's some additional information on how to "Leave No Trace" when camping.

Very self-explanatory, read up!

PETT toilet is the only way to go along with a shower/toilet tent. LEAVE NO TRACE!

Nope, good discussion actually, I was kind of waiting for this to come up. Some will be surprised at the lack of available privacy out there.

I'm used to using a PETT toilet when I'm in the backcountry, mostly because I hate digging a hole. ...and you're really not supposed to in NPS parks.
There's this Reliance one at Walmart or other sporting goods stores, not bad.

All use Wag Bags, a two-part bag that has a powder that absorbs "liquid", then seals up nicely so you can throw it away in a trash can.
That's right, the best reason to own a Trasharoo.
OK....well Wag Bags it is. Looking at the Cleanwaste portable toilet too as I like how it folds up flat. Been looking at picking up a CVT privacy tent for showers and utilizingthe toilet on longer trips. Maybe the time is now.

Sounds like the wag bags are lined with the "poo powder"? Am I wrong assuming that? Great...guess I'm spending more money for this trip. Luckily this is stuff I can use in the future. Next I'll have to look into airtight/bear resistant food containers.

Unless you're bringing a bear we really don't have to worry about them.

Wasn't thinking too much about this trip...but more Yosemite, Mammoth, UT and CO trips.

As for the shipping of PETT...I found issues as well trying to get Rotopax shipped to me on Amazon. They wouldn't do it.

More seriously if you get a Yeti or similar cooler they double as a bear box with locks.

We are leaving HMB between 06:00-07:00
Sorry. I should have been more clear. I'm thinking like early afternoon for my team, we will go to work first but then try to get out well ahead of the afternoon traffic in San Jose.

I'll open it up to those on the wait list tomorrow, 3/9, I've given the committed list folks 4 days.
I'll watch the PayPal account and judge by that and it will officially close when it hits 40 trucks.
I hope everyone that really wants to go can make it.
