Mercey Hot Springs

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Never been to the springs themselves. It's a scenic drive(or bicycle ride) when coming from the Hollister side. Spring green and wildflowers can be amazing. You can get there from the South through Gilroy I think, and New Idria. Panoche has a bar/deli, or it did have before the pandemic.

The road from Hollister to Mercy and on to I5 is paved. The Gilroy access(La Gloria Rd?) is dirt, you can see recent video on YouTube, search New Idria. No affiliation. Between Mercy and 5 there is some dirt roads that I believe you can camp on, or maybe 1 spot to camp at. Try checking out on GooooooooooogleEarth. Camping is available at New Idria IIRC.
