Mendocino Forest December 23 9am

Hello Everyone
December 23 Day Trip to Mendocino Forest Personally leaving from San Leandro.
Would anyone from Bay Area or nearby like to meet up to drive Bartlett Springs Road and Walker Ridge in Mendocino Forest and light dirt trails since I don’t have much of a overlander but a stock 4x4 suv. It would be me and the lady if you come alone or with a significant other maybe grab lunch after or meet up early and grab coffee before heading out.

Another option would be to go up to the top at Hull Mountain starting from Lake Pillsbury I called the Mendocino Forest line and spoke to a lady who said in spring they regraded the road going up to Hull Mountain and with no rain she said no problem with a 4x4.

Yeah sounds like the wife and I are in. What time did people wanna be hitting the trail? I could also be convince to make it a bit of a caravan from San Rafael or Napa.

Looks like we had the same idea headed out this weekend. I'm planning a trip to Shaver Lake/Bald Mountain. I'm gonna push my plans out to Sunday and join you guys on Saturday.

Typically when I’ve lead groups to the Mendo NF for the Nor Cal Land Rover Club we met at the REI in Santa Rosa. It allowed people to grab that last minute gear before a trip. Granted this is only a day trip but it was a good place north of the bay for everyone to meet up. Just a suggestion.

I think we can do a last minute change in rally point at the Santa Rosa Rei if you would like John_Saunders for 930am meet time and east bay folks still meet up in San Leandro at 8am to arrive in Santa Rosa around 930. Let me know ASAP so I can relay the message to everyone in a pm.

Nah, no need to change places. REI won't even be open that early unfortunately. I'll see you guys at the Arco at 9am.
