Sweet rig! I like the black and yellow colour scheme. That slide out looks awesome! Got some details on it?
Thanks

The slide out is pretty basic, 15 series 80/20 frame and 15 series single slot for runners with 80/20 Tslot linear bearing pads.
The trick was to get everything low enough so that I could close the tonneau cover with the 12v fridge/freezer.
the runners are fastened flat at the front of the box and spaced 1/4” at the back to clear the tailgate.
the bulk of the weight is in the freezer which sits basically in the truck so no need for killer strong slides.
I assembled it so the slide is a little tight that way I didn’t need to add a brake/lock to hold it in place.

I guess I can share my ride as I am a member of this great community, it is a 2010 Skoda Octavia VRS (the factory sports edition), not sure if I will trade it in or keep it and buy a 4x4 project to keep me busy as I don't need anything more capable for another 8-9 months, but low profile tires and firm suspension is not the best for exploring forest trails.

All of my travels this year have been in my 89 XJ, usually with one of two trailers in tow. A few weeks ago, I finished doing the body and paint on my 04 LJ. It will be my winter transportation and if it survives that (it should!) it will be taking a bit of the load off of the XJ next year. I also plan on doing some work on my 88 MJ (lift, tires, etc.) in the hopes of making it more "camp worthy" for 2023 & beyond.

My truck came in a couple months ago, just starting the buildout. I have a Decked system installed and just did tire swap. Contemplating whether to go with a rack system or an enclosed Smartcap…. Decisions!

Figured I'd post a couple of recent pics. Got rid of my DV8 steel bumpers and went to factory Recon/10th Anniv. steel bumpers, with a Maximus 3 ft bar. I got tired of the look of the DV8's, and thought the factory steel bumpers just looked cleaner. Plus, a change is good every now and then!

Posted a couple of interior pics of my setup as well. I just spent a few months traveling out to Baja, and all around the west and southwest, living out of the Jeep on both cross country trips. I'm loving the Ursa Minor top! I feel it is definitely the best setup for a 4dr Wrangler. The Goose Gear full platform and cubbies goes perfect with the Ursa as well. It really ends up building out to what I think is the perfect travel vehicle, especially for a solo traveler.

That's a sweet setup, looks like a very cozy adventure rig to travel with.

Do you acess the Ursa Minor from inside the vehicle?

Missing my jeep even more now after seeing this post. Jeeps have so many aftermarket options it blows ones mind away.

Thank you!

Yes, you access from inside the vehicle. There's about 6'4" of headroom when standing in the Jeep, so plenty of room! It's nice to be able to stand up to change clothes, wash off, etc. An Ursa Minor really is the perfect setup for a Wrangler, especially for those doing a lot of camping and traveling.

Super clean and useful setup, don't think you could find a better setup than this. I'm definitely missing the Jeep Lift atm. Will be keeping my eye out for a 4dr wrangler in the future . Love this setup.
