As every year, we from OB use the OTTO trade fair as a fitting end to the season (for those who count in seasons), but for most people the special camp ground is a good reason to travel to the east of the republic. At the foot of a castle built by an entrepreneur in the 1930s lies a beautiful castle garden that hosts many events. In addition to a small pond, there are various levels where the different groups meet to exchange ideas, catch up on travelling and the latest equipment. There is also a small trade fair with various exhibitors showcasing new and old equipment.

This year we were 13 vehicles in total. Many familiar faces but also some new ones. We had the honour of welcoming two members from WestE and two members from US East to the ranks.

It is simply so special to have an international group that enriches the group with different backgrounds and experiences. New gear could be tested, food and regional drinks were shared. In the evening we sat around the campfire or danced to live music, sang and drank a lot of beer on the fairgrounds.

The weather was great. Even though it rained heavily right at the start of the fair, making it a challenge for some vehicles to drive on the muddy and clayey paths.

Feel free so share your impressions.
