EU Mid Europe Meetup at OTTO expo 2022, Thuringia, Germany/ Europe

I see in the list of attendees in the Rallypoint that we already have six participants. That's great, because from six vehicles onwards we get a marked group place at the event.

Please remember to (1) RSVP in the Rally Point, (2) order your tickets for the expo on the OTTO expo website and then (3) send the data (order number, license plate number, first and last name(s)) to Thore @XC70_OVERLANDER by PN as he will take care of the allocation as a group place, thank you.

Thanks for asking, @Kent R . I haven't heard of anyone still having problems. Thanks to @Jim SoG and the development team everything is working again and the RP is visible again in the web version and app and RSVP is working as well.

@ all If someone should still have problems with the RP, then please get in touch. Happy to help.

Note to the OTTO expo tickets: Maybe some of you who have booked have realised it already. On the tickets that were printed until noon today, the "2021" is written in the head of the ticket.

Had a chat with the organizer this afternoon: A mistake has happened which has been corrected now. But of course these tickets are valid for the year 2022 and must - also for the sake of the environment - not be printed again. There is also a note on the webiste of the expo now explaining this.

So something unexpected happened and I'm currently in quarantine... But meanwhile I'm feeling good again and just sitting it out...
I will probably get to do it tomorrow or so

Had a chat with @Lupus_ravus yesterday. Maybe he will attend also, but he is currently on the road and will look once he is back home. It will be a great meetup again with so many people. I am looking forward to it.

We will add as many people as possible. Haha. But he will be able to register his G in Austria. Nice news.

Wow, in the RP I see already 10 attendees for this meetup. And also new members are on board. That´s absolutely great.

Thanks @XC70_OVERLANDER for setting up a RP to meet and drive in convoy from the north to the expo. Perhaps more convoys? What about the south?

Hello guys,
Just a quick question, would anyone be interested in some kind of follow-up to OTTO?
We plan on staying in the region for a few more days anyway, if the weather is somewhat cooperative.
If there is general interest I would set up a rally point.
There are lots of hiking opportunities available and a nice nature camping less than 40km away.
There should a few drivable tracks as well.
Let me know!

That's a great idea, Mathias. The region is awesome and you can do a lot there. If you like, then just set up a Rally Point with the dates when you'll be where and what you're up to and see how many show up.
