Took the RTT mounted on the Lowe's trailer on its first trip last week to the Mardi Krawl in north Alabama.

It towed flawlessly with no impact on gas mileage. The tent was at waist height which made deployment a breeze. Also, the ladder was at a perfect height for just half the ladder, and getting in and out was much easier.

Looks good. Lots of ideas out there. We built one also. Good times. We have put nearly 30,000 miles on our trailer. RTT on board, 33" tires and storage drawer inside.

Very nice. The limited cargo capacity of my TJ necessitated having a trailer and was the perfect place to mount my RTT. I agree the lower trailer height is an advantage while still getting you off the ground and away from creepy crawlies. And as many have said, being able to disconnect your vehicle from your camp makes life so much easier.

I don't know how to attach a photo here yet but here is my number, send me a pic of your rig and I'll do the same. I spent a year researching trailers and looking at different types, then designed my own. I even built a tent riser so we could use the annex.
