Keep the updates coming, I need inspiration to use mine for more than dump hauls! Bought mine to become a base camp trailer for hunting and such, but didn't get past 12 volt and led conversion. Too many projects, too little time and money.P_20191004_173136.jpeg

I’m actually further along with trailer I’m just a slow writer. IMG_0605.JPG. I ended up scraping this rack because trailer is quite a bit wider than tent and lost about 16”-18” of usable space with annex. IMG_0705.JPGIMG_0702.JPG. This is a full length drawer. I hope the aluminum won’t bend.

What is the thickness of the square tube you used for the top? Have you had any issues so far with the weight of the RTT and people sleeping inside?
I used 1 1/4” square steel 1/8 thick to make rack. I basically made a bed slide for rack so the whole tent slides over so annex doesn’t drape over side of trailer. No issues with weight. Tent is Cvt mt Denali summit series and around 500 lbs between 3 of us sleeping.
