We took the family M101 CDN out for the first trip. Had a great time but I am looking for some advice. The road turned out to be a little rougher than expected and the trailer was tipping very heavily. I was concerned about it rolling more than once, on a very steep hillside. It looks like the previous owner took several leaves out of the spring pack so my first thought is to replace the springs. Any thoughts?

I put some pictures of the springs and the trip. 20180324_191605.jpg20180324_190330.jpg20180321_093912.jpg20180322_065216.jpg2018032195101540.jpg

I had some bolt on overload springs I used on my 86' Toyota 4x4 truck. A 900 mile Baja trip on washboard roads snapped the flimsy leaf springs stock Toyota's come with. I found a bold on spring with U bolts up close to the axle and the a spring that adds some beef to the installed leafs. You put one on each side. It's a whole lot easier than taking it all apart to put in more leafs and it definitely added some carrying capacity. I didn't snap the new one with these installed. This was 20 years ago but I assume they're still made. Cheers Hans

I had some of those in my Mustang when I was 16 to clear wider rear tires. Man I thought it looked cool. I'm afraid these springs are too far gone. Found some classic jeep springs that might work.
