Hello everyone. I’m new to all of this and just bought my rig, a 2011 LX 570, and looking for tips on how much modifications I’ll need to do and gear I need to obtain. I’d like to keep it minimal if possible but can go full range as needed to make this a useful vehicle. It will be a dedicated overlanding vehicle. Anything you can suggest on where to start? Anything you offer would be appreciated but here’s what’s on my mind:
1) I’m wondering if I need to lift this more as it has 8.9 ground clearance. Is that enough?
2) the stock tires are rated mud snow but I’m not sure if that will be sufficient for trips around California.
3) tent.. do you suggest a rooftop tent is a must have or is a regular tent fine.
