Hey guys I live in South Fl and was trying to find some more places to adventure and camp. I’m thinking of checking out Ocala national Forrest if anyone has some trails or campsites they recommend it would be much appreciated.

Ocala is huge, there is tons of trails, tons of places to explore, and I think you can do dispersed camping nearly anywhere (check that out before you take my word for it). I typically map out things via google earth / maps, and just head out that way. Note, any non numbered road, you should expect to be unmaintained, tight, and comes with free pin stripping. Last but not least, I have seen sections where there is no/little/poor cell service; plan accordingly.

There is a meet rally point in later February and is going to head up to Ocala. I'm nearly 100% going on that one.
