That's another reason I like to run the 285/75R18, you can fit them in factory spare location. Most measure 34.5-34.8" tall x 11.2" wide so the height of most 35's but hits the in between of a 12.5 and skinny 10.5. The draw back to that size is it's not real popular so not all brands make it.

Stinkin holiday snow plows.

Had perfect snow for testing, 10 minutes ago. Already ruined. Will keep an eye open for slick roads.

Light crunchy snow. Dirt and gravel roads will be too grippy still.




Boring. Too easy.

45/40psi seems decent. I'll try 35/30 later.

Your front wheel have a different offset than the front? It looks more dished. or is it just because of the center cap?

All the same +18mm. Just the center cap, or lighting, most likely.

Finally, some snow wheeling.

So far, these tires work fine. As you can see, they do pack up properly in fresh crunchy snow. And they do fling clear at speed.

My trucks completely empty today. So 2wd is meh, 4wd is awesome. I have no worries. Perfectly stable and reasonable.

Obviously the extra size provides more grip, until it doesn't. I'll air down to 35/30 for local trips.

Initially very quiet. For an aggressive tire. As they age they get a hum like other tires. I run 315s at 28psi. I also rotate them all the time. They have been great for my purposes. I’m in the mountains of eastern az. It’s very rocky and also icy in the winter. They do well in the snow.

Keeping that for my spare on the oem wheel. Trucks on 35x12.5r18. But that's too wide for my spare wheel.

Went with the Mt2 for a spare, because the RT in that size, isn't E rated.

Should be a good pizza cutter for Jeeps and such.

I think I am going to run those 35/10.5/17 if I can buy them locally. That's a goldilocks tire size. no need for huge width here, but height is needed for rocky trails. I wish more companies made this size.
