@rob_0789b9 The unarguably best two pieces of equipment you can own are a SHOVEL, and a FULL-SIZE, MATCHING SPARE WHEEL AND TIRE.
Past that, bringing water and some survival food (a few bottles and a couple of granola bars is plenty safe for a day run) so you can walk to civilization in case you get REALLY stuck is good for safety.
If you go into the wild often, a first-aid kit and fire extinguisher are good to have.
A Class IV or higher trailer hitch mount is also handy for all kinds of things, and makes a good, solid recovery point, if your vehicle doesn't have a factory tow hook. A 2" or 3" recovery strap is nice to keep on hand, and can be used for other things as well. Ratchet straps, a basic tool kit... the list can get as long as you want it to.
Consider the kind of places that you will be going and the things that you will be doing with your vehicle, and gear up accordingly. There is no singular best loadout.
Here's a free piece of advice, too. Concern yourself more with tires than with lift. A good set of all-terrain tires will get you farther than any amount of lift, on street tires.
