I have one that I sand blasted to bare metal then seasoned with Grape oil 3 times @450 in the oven letting it cool between coats. Works like a charm.. But my two favorite pans are 80 to 100 years old and they are very none stick... I picked most of mine up at secondhand stores for under $25.00
I am a huge fan of cast iron and use it pretty much daily at home. I also use it when I camp, but not always. I know this is a big topic for a lot of people so I did a quick video on my channel with my thoughts on cast iron for camping-You can check it out here-
