The Ramcharger was my first truck. Followed by the white Silverado. Now I have the Suburban K2500

What all do you have done on the 2500 Burban? I'm curious about suspensions and what tire sizes I can run

I have the cognito uca leveling kit in the front and a 1in block in the rear. I'm running fox shocks. 295/75r16 General Grabbers.

I was scrolling through this thread, nice rig, nice rig, nice rig... Ohh, that's the North face of Mt. St. Helens!

I lived in Vancouver Washington for 14 years and I spent a lot of time playing in the shadow of that volcano. Nice pic @tbisaacs

Here's a pic of my ride as we were crossing Imogine Pass in Colorado

IMG_0839.JPG IMG_0838.JPG Just started getting my truck ready for my retirement trip. The continental divide in 2019.
2010.5 Raptor
6.2L
35" General Grabber AT2
ARB front locker
Firestone Airbags( for the droopy Raptor rear end)
Winch mount installed. Just picked up my 9500 Smittybilt winch today
Duel XGPS with IPad Air2

Now for the trailer
I know it's not a normal overland rig. But the wife and I had to realize the limitations of our older bodies.
2014 Rockwood hard sided pop up
I dropped the axel 5" and changed the 20" trailer tires to 24" Kumo truck tires.

Can't wait to start building out my truck

With you Bisco Bum on the limitations of the older body syndrome - :weary:

We just got back from a 1100 mile around trip and wished we had taken our hard shell trailer one night when we were in a full on Thunder Storm that was dropping about an 1/2" or more an hour for two hours straight.

Ernie was not a happy camper either!

I'm learning how to do that myself.......

It's trial and error, isn't it........?
IT IS...I find I can spend all day in my truck, exploring, having fun. BUT I need a real bed at night. My days of many nights in tents and sleeping pads are unfortunately gone.

But we just adapt and keep going. The rig just gets a little heavier.
