Late model Toyota diesel imports?

Any of yall have any experience with late model Toyota turbo diesel rigs? I've had my eye on getting a 2nd Gen Surf (4runner) for a while. I'd like a right hand drive, manual diesel. I've spent a little time with them, but nothing long term or durability wise. I've found a few sources, lower mile, clean for 7500-10k. Not sure if it would be worth the investment. But I love a diesel, not sure I want to do a swap, and no one seems to make one available in the states.

Are you thinking from Landcruiser Direct? They do it right, do your homework on which engine suits you, they are unique and awesome. Sometimes lack power.

No sir. I've found some importers. One in texas, one on the east and one west coast. They seem to do a lot of skylines, Supras etc. But they get a few cool rigs a year. 4runners, pathfinder, monteros etc.
