Las Vegas Meetup! - 07/24/2018

Hello Guys,
Patrick OB#12532 and I would like to host a meeting on Tuesday the 24th of July at 6:30 pm.
We will meet at the Four Kegs located at 276 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107

Obviously we'll mill around the rigs a bit, but I would like to discuss and plan the following with the group:
-1 - 2 trails to run a month and a quarterly overnight/2 day camping trip.
-Thoughts on education - I am a amateur HAM and would be happy to to provide guidance there
-Discuss gear and review things that people have found incredibly handy to have on the road.
-We would like to work on an education component - Recovery, GPS navigation etc.
-I think heading out to Armagosa or somewhere else and getting a member intentionally stuck to practice safe recovery techniques. (Winching, Traction Boards etc. )
-Local member directory with skills and contact info (Stuck? Need help installing something, need stuff welded? etc)
- Rig walkarounds

The Sierra Foothills Overlanders is sponsoring a FB live event Tuesday July 17 with Land Use Advocate Del Albright and OLB Founders Michael and Corrie Murguia.
If you have time check it out, this is probably the biggest issue with off road use today, we need to be part of the solution rather than the problem.

I would go but I've got a bit of right rear quarter panel damage on my rig. I'll try and work on it and get it done before then.
