Here's a head scratcher, so my LR3 decided to just randomly overheat. I notice the engine sounded a bit forced I looked down at my gauge and I was running hot. It didn't let it max out, I shut it off and let it cool. I notice I was low on coolant but I haven't noticed a leak. Topped her off and off I went to get back home (at that point we were 20miles away) she ran fine temperature never got above half way. At home I let her idle for 30 mins and nothing, still didn't get above half way. Was this a freak occurrence? Sticky thermostat? Or just a air bubble in the system ( I ran her with the fill cap off once I got home).
