I’ve been wanting to get to Windrock for awhile. This is my 3rd or 4th trip to LBL now. I’ve had a great time every trip. New trails every time too. I am a fan of 392 though. I’m so stoked for this trip

@joshjunior you could join us the day of! No worries. I’ll check this site and the other forum before I lose signal in the park just to make sure we don’t leave for the trails without anyone. We use handhelds too, so if you make it to Colson Hollow, you might could find us. Getting general numbers to make sure we don’t need to expand our reservation or get a bigger cake

I may be interested in joining Depending on work. I have always went to turkey bay. Never explored the other parts of lbl. Guess I could be the guy with the winch . New to the group but not new to wheeling I will know next thursday if I'm able to come or not

Colson Hollow is just up from Turkey Bay. We can hear them from where we are during the day sometimes. I need to be the girl with the winch.... should look into that since I’m the one that got stuck last time lol

It's the next cove over from what I see on the maps. Yea it can get loud right there at that 24 he generator area. I have been going there since 2001. Just got into the overland style offroading within the last 4 months. So still alot to learn. A winch has always been my first investment as I wheel alone alot. I have used them countless times on others but rarely on myself. I'm talking to the better half about letting me come up alone as she has to work that weekend. So we shall see how that goes cause we got into this for her on the most part lol. (I believe colson hollow is directly across from my normal camping spot at TB)
*edit looked again and it's 168 and 343 that are directly across

@Bigdeck1987 Right now we have two families, three couples and 4 singles. And a few dogs. No cats. Just pitch it as: you need to vet us before wasting her time lol.
I used to go mudding in HS and college but list that for a few years. Stumbled across here and jumped right back in. Now the kids make it a little more difficult to just up and get what I want.

I'll definitely try that pitch lol. I would have my husky with me also(even though he's really hard headed) if I'm able to come so dogs are no problem with me at all. I will definitely let you know closer to date.

I’m coming from Nashville (probably pretty obvious) so if you want to meet that’s cool. We’ll probably be leaving Nashville about 7 or 8 am.

Wife and I are definitely in. Took friday off and plan on leaving same time. Probably going to drive the amigo. Never been to colson campground, do they have outhouses etc?

There is an outhouse and that's it. Dry and no electric. I'll DM you my number just in case. I think we normally com on channel 11. I think.

Exactly what I thought. Everything is already packed and tent is on the rack. So if its last minute I should still be able to come up. I will not be leaving until about 5 pm on Friday afternoon so I will be a late arrival coming in. I will keep you updated as everything progesses. I may have one more vehicle coming also. With 1-3 people but unsure about that also at this moment

Said before and I’ll say it again, the more the merrier. RTT? I desperately want one. Just the ones that will fit my family are stupid expensive.
