I live in northwest Arkansas and it gets into the mid-90s on hit days in July and August. I have a Kodiak 6133 (Cabin) tent ... It is amazing. In the winter, I can hook up a heater and it will hold in the warmth. In the summers, I open the windows and the cool air blows through constantly. The first time I took it out, it rained for two days straight. The tent never once leaked. It dried in the sun for two more days and I let it air out once I got it home ... no signs of mold whatsoever. The one drawback: It is heavy! The tent itself is about 55 lbs., the poles are another 50 lbs and the tent stakes weigh in just over 8 lbs. It is not an "overlanding" type tent, meaning you don't want to set this up late at night and, then, take it down the next morning. But if you plan on being somewhere for a few days, you can't beat a Kodiak.
