But yes, some very cool stuff and mid century history is very interesting to me.
Yeah that's good stuff, do you watch "The History Guy" on YouTube? If not you should, about 15 minute shorts, worthwhile watching.
Ha! I picture you in front of a computer, coffee in hand, sullen expression, and a cartoon balloon saying "Why, why have I never seen this before!"
Of particular interest to in a lot of mid-century magazines and articles and docs like these, are the illustrations, especially the black and white ones.

This one above (actually from a bit before mid-century in 1935) has the line:
