ALCON,
Bottom line up front:
By purchasing a used pack for $25 I was able to create a kitchen pack that enables me to compactly store everything necessary to cook anything for two people.

Details of the “ Kelty Kitchen”:
- 56L Kelty Moraine
- Camp Chef Everest II Stove
- Heavy Duty bubble wrap (from og Everest packaging)
- 1x Coleman 1# propane
- 1x Jetboil fuel canister
- 1x Jetboil with pan holder
- 1x Aeropress coffee making system
-1x GSI Backpacker Cookware set
- 2x MSR bowls
- 2x MSR deep plates
- Assorted utensils
- 1x Small cutting board
- 2x kitchentowels
- More to come after additional testing, I still have a little room that I could maximize.

Purpose:
If you’re like me, a kitchen chuck box or the like isn’t an option right now (no roof rack to store, chuck boxes can get awkward and heavy for Han solo trips). Although I have a decked storage system that some people use for their kitchen, I decided I want my pull out drawers to be used for A) truck stuff that never leaves and B) camping stuff that I can easily take in and out each trip (Tent, chairs, etc)

While brainstorming and looking through Facebook Marketplace, I decided to try creating a kitchen pack.

I had to create the pack around my stove, a Camp Chef Everest. So I found a used 56L Kelty Moraine that would fit the dimensions of the stove. In addition to fitting the stove, I wanted fuel to be store separately, and additional storage for a utensil package. The Moraine hit all of the requirements, and came in at $25. The Camp Chef brand tote for the Everest stove is $30, which you could use as a secondary liner for a kitchen pack. I saved the bubble wrap it came in, which has protected the knobs well. You could go with a pack with more storage, but it’s hard to find any that has a suitable main compartment with quality exterior pouches. Perhaps a MOLLE system would work in this case, but being in the military myself I don’t like to look like I’m playing Army while I’m off duty.

If you have any suggestions or questions I’d love to hear them!

looks like the perfect set up to me...good quality gear that is very well organized and protected. you nailed it!
At the end of the day, that is all any serious camper/overlander is trying to accomplish, no matter the exact means or method.

How do you like that stove? I just bought the same one but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Reviews looked good.
