I had a bit of an issue over the weekend using some 1lb bottles and large Discada cooker. Temperature was a bit chilly (around 34 or so) and my propane tank and regulator were freezing up and causing some sporadic issues with maintaining the flame.

What do some of you folks do to help alleviate this in colder climates? I was looking into a heat pad to try to keep the tank warmer as it discharges but figured I would check here first to get some ideas.

A two stage regulator is supposed to eliminate this issue, but I haven't tried it yet.
