Just had to set up my iPad...

So the iPad was giving me some issues recently -- crashes, hang ups, etc -- so it was time to do a restore to it. Now it looks good onscreen, and added a new-to-me app called Topo Maps. For $8 seems to be really good, and Topo downloads are free from USGS, too! Nice!

After I get some familiarity with Topo Maps down, I'll share my findings if anyone wants.

I used Topo Maps way back on my iPad 1. I still have it on my iPad pro. I never use it anymore though. The maps were decent but I dont like how the tiles overlap each other. A lot of times I couldn't get coverage where two tiles met.

I saw something in the documentation about that issue, but I don't know what it says as I didn't read it yet. Curious to see how well it works.
