Yes, The metal is the way to go. It is rigid and you have a higher weight limit.
Did the provide the labeled MOLLE bags as well? There’s so much gear, labeling is key. Did you do the bags or did they?

Molle-Platform-Solutions does metal fabrication. They don't do textiles at the moment.

Thanks for the forward and information. MPS has your setup on their website now. Since Springtail LLC quit making the pet barrier and side storage racks for the JK I have been looking at options. I live in NC so will be able to take a trip up to the MPS shop and hopefully test fit their pet barrier. Like most overlanding rigs, the rear of my JKU has racks, storage, and also has my Odyssey AGM accessory battery. I will need to see if MPS racks will work with my setup.

Nice set up! Yes, hopefully Alan (Molle Platform Solutions) set up works. He also does custom set ups if it doesn't fit how you want. I completely understand. Everything in the vehicle is a determination of how to use the space the best.
