ISSUE with Dometic Go 11L water Jug "Hydration system".

The 2.5" lid cap cracked, due to air pressure while sitting in hot garage. I should have opened the airflow valve a little, but didn't think of it. Most water containers can flex due to air inside heating up, but the Dometic jug is rigid. Luckily, jug is ok, just the lid top was a weak point. Dometic is gonna send me a new one.
Anyways, just a heads-up to crack open the air valves or fill lids on water bottles a bit, if stored in hot areas!20240913_134156.jpg

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s good to hear that Dometic is sending you a replacement lid. For anyone using rigid water jugs like the Dometic Go 11L, it’s a helpful reminder to open air valves or ensure lids aren’t sealed tightly if the container is stored in hot environments. This can help prevent pressure-related damage to the lid.
