Anyone use have any experience with this mount? Mounting seems easy, and its flexible but also seems like it would wobble a lot off road.

Looking to move to something different than the cup holder mount for my iPad Mini navigation apps.

Yea Im not sure what the deal is. I think it was adblocker, and the way the forum presents the link/URL it blocks.

When I disabled my adblocker it works here is the embedded

I see it fine. I'm sure it's an ad blocker.

I actually have that mount, bought it in February. On road it's decent but it's all over the place offroad, as you would suspect. I regret the purchase for my purposes.. Don't waste your money if your primary use will be offroad..

I had a similarly cheap mount for my phone (windshield mount with extended flexible arm) and ditched it for a Ram Mount last month and am much happier. Not that it helps you, but I plan to get the Vector Offroad 'Dock' and ram mounts (or similar) for everything. I'm tired of messing with the crappy stuff and have little tolerance for stuff bouncing around offroad.. :o

I considered getting it right after buying the Jeep, but honestly with the windshield already being so small, I was afraid it would make me even more claustrophobic feeling and further obstruct my view. That said, I got used to the small windshield pretty quickly and with all the crap suctioned to my windshield on trips, my view is even worse than if it were all on the Vector dock!

(sorry for the sidetrack @IamMachines)

I found the my iPad Mini 4 was great but just a bit too small for me, so I just upgraded to an Apple iPad Pro 9.7 model (128GB 2016 model with cell.). It works way better now, loving my NAV apps even more now!

I like your setup a lot, and I would consider something similar for my Xterra, but I'd have to make sure that my front airbags have full clearance. I would hate to tap something then end up with a face full of iPad and gear! :) I'll take a more recent pic of my setup and post when I get a moment.

I believe Vector Offroad is geared towards Jeep products.

Maybe a businss idea (making something similar for other brands), assuming there wouldn't be a patent issue.
