I may have missed an update, so may I ask how this works for investors in OB, for buying or selling their investment ?
I looked at Republic and it simply lists an ammount and OB , not much else , eg $500 invested

Is a process in place to buy or sell , or will a process be put in place

thank you

I would imagine a more public statement to those who have invested would be welcome . I have received no documentation, nothing to indicate the $500 I put in to OB. I am curious if anyone else has . So yes it’s reasonable to question the lack of a response. I am not the only person who has concerns

Yes, I received the crowd safe agreement via the republic platform and it clearly states my investment. It also states the conditions and explains what happens when and in which event with the investment. I can also see the investment exactly in my account. Have you logged into your republic account and had a look?

Yes I have looked at REPUBLIC - its simply says that there is ( in my case) a $500 'investment' . However what I am asking is how for example that is liquidated , or IF someone was interested in acquiring more , how is that done. I see no mechanism for buying/selling this investment in OB. Or has the $ just disappeared ? @Michael

Hey all,

Nothing has changed with the terms of investment. There are specific trigger events for a return. As @El-Dracho mentioned, you have to go to the Republic site for legal information and terms.

I will say, our plan has take much longer than expected to execute due to a general downturn in...well take your pick, but the terms are the same and we continue to improve Overland Bound as a business.

Thank you for replying, I will recheck the Republic www and my account for the I formation .
With respect your reply is a bit ‘tough luck’ in tone. I hope that’s not the case . Thank you again .

I had no intention of expressing “tough luck”. Email and text are certainly not good at expressing intent.

Thank you , I appreciate it.

At the end of the day its a question for me at least , of financial and operational transparency for those who invested in OB

the offering on Repbulic was clsed on April 16 2022
$711,972 from 1264 investors was raised, with a max market capitalisation of $10m

The documentation shows that they have , no voting , no nformation or inspection rights, no public market exists for the 'shares' , and there are no assurances that such a market will ever exist

Fundamentally I would suggest that its a reasonable question to ask ( I realise for those who invested not the general membership) where and how was the $711,972 was spent. How does OB intend to continue to operate financially. What plans are there for , if any , for financial transparency and a buy/sell market.
are financial statements going to be released to investors ?

A forum restricted to investors might be a venue to consider where these questions can be asked in a degree of privacy

If OB as a company does not wish to , then a statement to that effect would seem appropriate , and the reality is investors can if they choose to then effectively write off the $ they in good faith put into OB.

And again if I missed information regarding the above , my mistake,

best wishes and I genuinely appreciate you replying
