My son is now old enough to ride for more than 20 mins in a car without needing a stop. I'm planning a trip to over to Gallagher Head Lake in a month or so (I had the idea before I saw y'alls youtube video). Is there anything I need to worry about on the trail? I'll be driving my 2013 Nissan Frontier long bed crew cab. I has a 2 in lift and I'm running 33" KO2's. That and if anyone is in my area and wants to meet up and come along let me know.

I went on the OB run last August. It was before I installed my lift and tires, and I had no trouble getting up there, aside from a bit of battle damage. Taking a slightly different line would have prevented that. There were a couple of people in stock rigs, that sat lower than mine, and had no problems or damage at all.

I just saw a post on IG yesterday that there's still a bit of snow, but they estimated it would probably all be gone in another week or two.

Has anyone been up Gallagher Head Lake/Fortune Creek yet this season (2019). I’m wondering if the snow has all melted yet & what’s the current trail condition?
