I have built several rigs sometimes like now the same truck in several configurations. It sounds funny but I use a excel sheet and add a list of parts I want and sit on it for a bit. (A bit for me is about 2 weeks).
I’m that time you realize something is gimmicky or might have missed something you didn’t realize before hand. For example I have a brush guard I got on impulse and now realize I cannot put a winch in it. So that is money out the window.
