I'm trying to move to West Virginia

Looking for anyone down in West Virginia that is up for a chat and helping a total stranger. I don't know anyone down there, nor do I have any history down there. I'll be moving with my wife, kid, 3 dogs, and 6 chickens. Been trying to find a lot we could park a camper on for a few months to get established. We are also looking for jobs. I'm a mechanic myself, my wife is a waitress with experience in manufacturing facilities and customer service. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

What part of the state do you have in mind?
I live in the eastern panhandle. Like probably 70%+ of the population, travel into MD/ Northern VA/ DC for work.

Finding employment should not be a problem, at least in my area.

I haven't been there in decades. It's awesome and wild and wonderful.

However....

My (late) Dad was born there, and you're saying it wrong.

It should be "West, By God, Virginia"

Seneca Rocks area is nice. Just spent 4 days there. Lots of heavy mechanical work to be had.
