Hmm - you'll receive a wide range of opinions, all valid. Key point, I think, is to ensure that what you have suits the type of travel you undertake. Some thoughts, from my perspective:

Accessories:
Rough Country Bull Bar - illegal here so we have no bull bar. Adds mass and in our case we've not needed one, mainly through managing risk (e.g., adjust speed when driving in "kangaroo hour"
LED Light Bar for Bull Bar - we never (well hardly ever) drive at night, so no need. We do have LED bulbs in the spots.
LED Rear Bumper - as above
4 Switch Panel in Dash - make sense
Emergency Strobes - haven't seen any need
Lower Portion of entire vehicle Herculined Flat Black - not an expense in which we're interested
Touch Screen Stereo Sony - we're happy with the standard system.
Rockford speakers - standard in our vehicle.
Small Rigid Power Inverter 100w - built in on the JK, we have a separate one on the Montero

Currently Carrying

Mattress - we have one custom made for us.
Plano Cases - we don't carry much and carry what we need in kitbags
Radio Repeater - we have UHF built in for radio comms, cellphones when coverage exists. No need for more.
Jumper leads - yes
Ryobi Tire Inflator - we have a compressor (small local locally, big one for "big trips"
Emergency Supplies - yes (although we may differ in what this means)
hand tools - yes including socket set, long bar, TORX, allen keys
Fuses, O-Rings, Electrical Connectors - yes, plus spare bulbs, duck tape, tiewraps
Recovery Strap - 11,000 kg, plus carabiners
Chain - no, heavy and unnecessary
Full Size Spare Tire - yes, we have carried two in the past and have concluded that only one is needed.
Lantern - yes (legally required, with spare batteries)
Foam Knee Board - perhaps a good idea, but takes up more space

Future plans Include:
Front Winch - debatable, we have one, but have hardly ever used it, the tow strap has been used (helping others), more mass and cost, so perhaps not needed at all.
Roof Rack - had one for one long trip on the Montero and one on the LC80, however for the last couple of long trips we had pared down to the point we didn;t need one.
Water Tanks - we had a 44L Frontrunner tank for one long trip, and needed it (Australia); on other trips not needed.
Fuel Tanks - we use extra fuel cans on the verry few occasions needed (buy, fill, and give away after the bits of thr trip they were needed) - needed in Australia and Africa, not in South or North America.
Roof Rack Awning - had one on the LC80 and used it occasionally, had one on the Montero and also used it a little more frequently, even so, more mass and space, and for the last couple of trips (North America) and at home on the Montero we have not carried one.

What else?
- tyre repair kit with lots of "jerky" (we've repaired tyres for other vehicles more than our own so carry extra)
- 2nd bottle jack (we carry the original plus a bigger one)
- jack base pad
- Crossbrace, chocks, medical kit, safety triangles, reflective waistcoats (all legally required)
- ipod, ipad
- GPS
- GoPro
- Reversing light (*built in as an extra, the original is not really good enough)
- Small shovel
- carabiners with short slings
- Compass
- Whistle
- other personal stuff, cameras, etc., etc.

For me Overlanding isn't about stuff it's about exploring and going new places. I traveled all over Baja in a 2 wheel sedan for years. My guess you are traveling for weekends and multi-day trips, sleeping in the back. If you trust your ride take it out and use it. Everything is a trade-off in this activity, Jeeps can go more places than I can, I roll a full size truck and will camp better than they will. The reason I love something could be the reason you hate it. I think Rotopacs are a fashion statement, I use old blitz gas containers on my roof racks, 15 or 20 gals they come off when I get home
I don't see :
Kinetic line or shackles
Kitchen and food storage
Maybe a tent?
I looks like you most all the bases covered.

Nice truck. I've been a Chevy guy since I could drive but the last 5 years or so I've been in a GMC Sierra and I cant see myself switching back.

@Alanymarce seem to know what they are doing and been everywhere. I like they added compass and tire repair.

I have the NOCO pack and a Ryobi inflator as well. Done fine by me.

@MMc Talks about a tent. And I agree, however we've camped out of the decked-out, Leer covered bed just fine and I imagine you can do that in your Yukon

Dog? Binoculars? Tyvek maps of the mountain ranges you may be passing through?

Thanks! Ill def add and subtract a few things things from my gear after reading this. Il update some items i forgot to list like tire repair kits etc...
Binoculars is not a bad idea. I do have some offline maps on my electronics as well, but there isnt quite anything like a hard copy thats water proof.
I have a 2006 Sierra 2500HD. I absolutely love that truck and use it to pull my atv and camping trailer. Its never let me down. Def a GM fan as well. Cheers guys.

Anyone in Los Angeles Area?
