I have just started over having upgraded at the beginning of the year, the main two things for this build will be keeping it as light as possible (excess weight is a killer of performance and reliability) as well as buying quality items and upgrades the first time even if it means taking longer to build. My last rig was built quickly for a upcoming trip and to a limited budget, some of the cheap stuff just did not last and either let me down or needed replacement sooner than I liked.
